Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is an 2008 comedy film based on the novel by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. High school student Nick O’Leary (Michael Cera), member of the queercore band The Jerk Offs, meets college-bound Norah Silverberg (Kat Dennings), who asks him to be her boyfriend for five minutes in order to avoid her friend and his ex-sweetheart (Alexis Dziena).
As of October, 2007, the movie is filming and is set for October 3, 2008 release. Sections of the movie were filmed in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at Union Pool, as well as the legendary Don Hill’s in Tribeca. Additional filming took place in New York City’s Lower East Side.
